XPLR and USAJPA Host First Community Fundraiser
Even before generating revenue, XPLR, in conjunction with USA Junior Pickleball Association (USAJPA), hosted a massive fundraiser for the Tustin High School Boys’ Volleyball program. This was an event like no other. The pickleball tournament brought together pickleball players from the Western United States for a full day of fun in the beautiful SoCal environment. The tournament was a fast-paced event with games played to 11 points, win-by-one. Men’s brackets consisted of 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0, while women’s was a combined round robin and mixed was divided into two divisions. Feedback from the event reinforced the sentiment that this was a tournament like no other before it. Grilled burgers, sides, drinks, and snacks throughout the day were all included in the price of registration. Participants played 8-10 games per division, meaning that those who played mixed in addition to men’s or women’s played between 18 and 20 games over the course of the day.
